Her striking purple sinamay hat sports an upturn brim and a sloping crown, which is a favourite of many ladies. The silhouette shape itself adorns any garment and any ladies stance improves quite quickly as she enters any venue.

Did you ever wonder how hats were made? Linda Brately did, and to answer her question she went on a hands on 5 day millinery workshop with Bethune Matthews and obtained the skills to make hats for clients and set up her own business. Her designs have inspired others to give it a try.

Aretha’s bow hat is making a come back, worn prominently at the front so all can admire, and also matching her outfit sends out the message its great to look good. What an opportunity to learn how to make a hat similar in one of my workshops. Why not join me.
